The season of early motherhood is notorious for presenting a unique and pressing set of challenges to the modern woman, many of which seem to stand in tension with her pursuit of God. The demands of this season can make spiritual growth feel elusive, or unimportant, even as the longing to know and follow Him remains.
Yet we believe motherhood isn't an interruption to our spiritual formation, but one of God's richest invitations into it. Far from being a detour, it is the very place where He does a good work in us, and a powerful context in which He works through us to shepherd the little lives He has entrusted to our care.
God's Word is meant to do more than inform our minds. It transforms our hearts and reshapes the way we live. For that reason, The Hearthmakers exists to help mothers grow in biblical literacy and theological understanding, even in the very midst of these early years, so that God's truth in His enduring Word may take deep root in our lives and bear fruit in our homes.
