What This 4-Week Bible Study Will Do
Information & Details
Dates: 4, 11, 18 and 25 March 2026
Wednesdays nights, 9-10pm Singapore Time (GMT+8:00)
Over four Wednesday nights, we will read and study the book of Jude together using the foundations of the Observation-Interpretation-Application (OIA) method.
Each week you will:
Learn the introductory skills of the OIA method
Apply the OIA steps to understand each section of the book of Jude carefully, discovering key themes and biblical principles
Discuss how these apply to everyday motherhood
Build a simple, repeatable Bible study framework you can use in your own reading time to make this spiritual discipline come alive
You’ll be doing this with a group of mums in the same season sharing the same heart to grow in their walk with God through His word — so expect heartfelt, relatable, lively and uplifting discussions to ensue!
By the end of the four weeks, you will:
Understand the foundations of the OIA method
Know how to study any given passage of Scripture on your own
Feel more confident in handling the Word carefully and independently
Grow in discernment for your children, your home, and yourself
Experience a renewed love for the Word of God
Start building your “spiritual muscle” to cultivate a Bible reading habit
-
Not at all.
This study is designed as an introduction. You do not need prior training or theological background. I will walk you step by step through how to observe, interpret, and apply Scripture carefully.
If you can read your Bible, you can do this.
-
Because this is discussion format, live attendance matters.
If you miss a session due to illness or genuine circumstance, reach out to me directly.
Please commit to attending all four sessions when you apply.
-
Nope!
Each session is a hybrid of teaching and discussion. I will guide and teach key skills, but you will also actively practice and discuss what you are learning.
This is interactive and participatory.

Jude is a short but powerful letter about discernment, guarding truth, and standing firm in faith.
As mums, we are raising children in a culture full of noise, distraction and truth distortion. Studying Jude trains us to recognise truth, think biblically, and remain steady in our convictions.
It also reminds us that we are called, loved, and kept by God. That is deeply anchoring in motherhood.
-
If you already have a consistent habit but want to deepen your study skills and grow in discernment, this will still serve you.
If you are looking for advanced theological training, this is not that. This is foundational skill-building and habit formation.
-
If you’re willing to connect with like-minded, like-season mums, have a desire to grow in your walk with God through studying the Bible, this is a great fit for you!

Jude is short. Only 25 verses, so it’s not intimidating for Bible study beginners.
Even though it was written around 30AD, it speaks directly into the world we are raising children in today, and addresses things that hit us directly in motherhood, like:
how do we discern the truth in our modern day where access to information is easy and widespread
how do we contend for our faith and stand firm on biblical truths and convictions
how do we carry the hefty calling of parenthood in light of the gospel, so that we can be sustained for the long run

Hi, I’m Samantha!
I’m a stay-home-working mum to a preschooling son and a handful of plants I’m trying to keep alive. I’m also a proud and grateful wife to a gentle nerd #ITsupportforlife.
As a former teacher and worship minister, I have a heart for mentoring and discipling others — currently through my work at The Hearthmakers, where I’m passionate about encouraging and equipping busy mums of little ones to know and love God more through His Word so they can build a lasting legacy of faith for the next generation.
