Mums Bible Study:
Book of Jude
A 4-WEEK BIBLE STUDY PILOT SERIES
For the mums who want to rebuild a Bible reading rhythm and grow in discernment and confidence in raising little ones in these modern times.
We are raising children in a loud world, where the noise of confusion threatens to steal their God-given identity and peace (ours too).
There are opinions everywhere.
Parenting advice every corner of the internet you look.
And with the abundance of information, often you find yourself with more confusion than confidence.
You love God. You want your children to grow up knowing Him deeply.
But your own time in the Word has been inconsistent, rushed, even missing recently, in these full days of full on mothering of little ones with round the clock needs.
And when you do open your Bible, you’re drawing blanks. You read, but it flies over your head, and you’re unsure if you understand it well. You read, but it feels so dry you’re not sure you can keep picking up your Bible again.
This 4-Week Bible Study through the Book of Jude is not about adding more pressure or things to your already full plate. It’s about strengthening your foundation as a faith-fuelled mum, re-awakening your experience of the Bible as the living and life-giving Word, and equipping you to continue to handle the Word as such.
As mothers, we need discernment.
We need conviction without becoming harsh.
We need to know how to think biblically when culture is confusing.
And we need the steady reminder that God, not us, ultimately keeps our children.
Studying Jude trains us in that regard, helping us become theologically grounded instead of culturally swayed.
Why The Book of Jude
Jude is short. Only 25 verses, so it’s not intimidating for Bible study beginners.
Even though it was written around 30AD, it speaks directly into the world we are raising children in today, and addresses things that hit us directly in motherhood.
❋ Discernment in a noisy, distracting and truth distorting culture
Jude warns against false teaching and the distortion of truth. As mums, we are:
raising children in a busy, noisy world today
navigating parenting advice from everywhere
constantly filtering what is biblical and what is not
❋ Standing firm in faith and teaching our kids to do the same
Jude talks about contending for the faith.
That means standing firm with conviction and clarity. As mums, we need:
solid theological foundations
know exactly what we believe
confidence in Scripture
❋ Remembering you are called, loved, and kept by God
Motherhood can feel like everything, including your kids’ future, depends on you. Jude reminds us that ultimately, God does the keeping of the ones he called and loves.
Detailed Information
What This 4-Week Bible Study Will Do
Over four Wednesday nights, we will work methodically through the book of Jude using the foundations of the Inductive Bible Study method.
Each week you will:
Learn the core skills of inductive study
Practice the OIA* steps to understand the text carefully
Discuss how it applies to everyday motherhood with a group of mums in the same season sharing the same heart to grow in their walk with God through His word
Build a simple, repeatable framework you can use on your own
*OIA stands for Observation - Interpretation - Application
In between our live group calls, there will be homework. It will take approximately 30 minutes per week.
By the end of the four weeks, you will:
Understand the foundations of the Inductive Bible Study method
Know how to study a passage of Scripture on your own
Feel more confident in handling the Word carefully and independently
Grow in discernment for your children, your home, and yourself
Experience a renewed rhythm for the spiritual discipline of Bible reading

I believe depth requires space, so I’m not pursuing a big turnout.
Also, as this is a pilot, I am refining the structure before opening it wider.
-
This run of Mums Bible Study is free because it’s in beta testing stage.
However, free is not casual.
In return I’m asking for:
Commitment to attend live
Active participant
Weekly homework prep (30 mins)
Honest feedback
A written testimonial if it has served you
If you are ready to build a spiritual discipline and willing to commit four Wednesday nights, I would love to have you.
-
Not at all.
This study is designed as an introduction. You do not need prior training or theological background. I will walk you step by step through how to observe, interpret, and apply Scripture carefully.
If you can read your Bible, you can do this.
-
Because this is a small pilot group, live attendance matters.
Sessions will be recorded for internal review, but replays will not be routinely distributed. If you miss a session due to genuine illness or emergency, reach out to me directly.
Please only apply if you can commit to all four Wednesday nights.
-
No.
Each session is a hybrid of teaching and discussion. I will guide and teach key skills, but you will also actively practice and discuss what you are learning.
This is interactive and participatory.

ude is a short but powerful letter about discernment, guarding truth, and standing firm in faith.
As mothers, we are raising children in a culture full of noise, distraction and truth distortion. Studying Jude trains us to recognise truth, think biblically, and remain steady in our convictions.
It also reminds us that we are called, loved, and kept by God. That is deeply stabilising in motherhood.
-
If you already have a consistent habit but want to deepen your study skills and grow in discernment, this will still serve you.
If you are looking for advanced theological training, this is not that. This is foundational skill-building and spiritual reset.
-
If you are willing to commit four Wednesday nights, complete 30 minutes of homework weekly, participate actively, and grow in discernment through Scripture, you are a good fit.
If you are unsure about your availability, due to the required live attendance for these calls, this may not be the right season.
